Thats the German flag. The rifle looks to be resting on German BDU's.

Unhappy

I've got an update...but a sad one.

The scope broke something internally last Saturday when I was at the range...after finishing a 20-round string, I looked into the eyepiece and the image was out of focus. I shook the rifle, and I could hear something rattling inside the adjustment housing...

I guess the recoil forces were too much for this BSA. Anyone out there have any recommendations for a replacement. Bear in mind, though that this is a $150 rifle! I was thinking about getting one of those newfangled Russian scopes...they seem to offer durability at a low price...any thoughts?

Nice 98, sorry about the scope. TASCO, if you can find one. Good Luck!

Thanks for the tip, Eric!

I've got a 3-9x40 bargain basement special that I got from this guy at a gun show...it's one of the Tasco Australia overstocks.

Does Tasco make a scope with a rangefinder? I guess I can live with using one ammo type and memorizing my elevation clicks, but range estimation is one of my failings....

It's too bad that the Tasco Super Sniper is too short for this rifle. I hear that's the best tactical scope they make.
