Brazilian Model 1908

Any info on the Brazilian 1908 Mausers that were rearsenaled (I think in the late 80's early 90's) by Springfield Armory, I ran across one at a gun shop that appears to be in excellent condition, all matching, 7x57mm. The asking price is $250. Bore appears sharp and bright.
Thinking about buying it, any comments . . .

Did you buy it?
The rearsenaled part doesn't make sense to me. If it was re-arsenaled it might have been rebarreled to 7.62x51 nato.
7mm in 29in barrel? Good bore. yes a good purchase. Dont see any mausers in 7mm anymore.
