| loose front sight blade Hi all I have a 1912 Chilean Mauser, with a loose front sight blade. (looks like the previous owner tried an epoxy repair-there is a gob of it on the ramp.) Anybody have experience in fixing this problem? Are there any marks that help you line it up properly? Thank you! |

| If you remove the blade and carefully knurl it with a center punch, it will expand the metal to hold it tight. Be sure not to overdo it. If it is sighted in before disassembly then mark it so that when you reinstall with marks aligned then there will be less adjustment when you go to sight it in. |
