Here are some crappy pics of my bubbaed Persian.

I got one of these with the barrel cut off to 16.5 inches and remington 700 sights silver soldered to the barrel. Took it to the range and got 2 inch, dead-on groups at 50 yards. refinished and reblued, it makes a good truck gun.

I love mine!

Too bad bubba had to cut a perfect Persian rifle stock.
With the barrel cut down is it an open sight tack-driver?

FMJ if you want to take it back to original look in the retail thread there is a man in OR that makes duplicates of all the millitary stocks. to exact millitary spects.

The barrel hasn't been cut, it's a carbine. The front sights are made into the barrel.Persian Mauser Check out this website and look at the Berno Kootah[short rifle].Yes it's a tack driver, I can hit a 5 gallon bucket with it at 400yds.

It kicks about as hard as anything I've ever shot.Oh, by the way I only paid $50 for it. My wifes Grandfather is starting to let go of some of his guns, when he offered this up for that price I nearly fell over!

What else does he have? I got an extra couple hundred

400 yards? Most likely 2 MOA or better. Whow! My Persian with Romanian Steel cased ammo did about 3" MOA.

Really, being bubba'd, it's still a good lookin rifle. It is too bad that some one did destroy that BEAUTIFUL stock. Good buy either way though, glad to hear she shoots well!
