98K

Im planning on purchasing a k98. Which one do you think is more accurate, a k98 or m24/47?

As far as accuracy goes, I couldn't tell you as I only have fired my M24/47 and never a K98. The K98 is by far the more desirable and collectible of the two however. I know I have been more than happy with my 24/47, but I am sure one of the other members will have a more knowledgable answer for you than I do.

Too many variables to tell....

Condition of the rifles.

Quality of ammo.

Skill of shooter.

Phase of the moon.

Just buy and shoot them both and enjoy!

Hard to answer--sun spots, tides, moon, etc. I have both a 98K and a Brno copy of the 98. I haven't worked up a load with the 98K yet, but I just shot a one hole 5 shot group with the Brno with handloads (25 yds). I just bought the dies and haven't had time to work up load for the 98K. I don't think you can go wrong with either, and the Yugo is about half the cost of the 98K.
