Strange K98 Need info. WaA607 Marked BRNO Rifle

Just bought a rifle with no import Marks that looks like a K.98 Similar in length / Cupped but plate / Bent bolt that is checkered on the bottom side. stock dished out for the for the bolt nob / Has sling slot through butt stock / also 4 more sling swivels / hole in front of trigger guard / With locking screws. also the bolt take down disks in the butt stock. Also has grasping groves on the lower forearm. The upper hand guard goes from the front band to the front of the of the receiver ring the rear sight has regular numbers 3-20 only on top. The receiver markings are like this. CS. ZAVODY NA VYROBU ZBRANI Written in 2 lines in a curved fashion over BRNO / The left receiver ring has this on it. Looks like / L Lion in circle 23 below this the serial number is L 6?42 The left side rail has no markings. Its in nice shape very few dents the bluing and stock finish are around 85- 90 percent Very nice bore in 8mm . Any information about what this is would be appreciated and helpful. Looks to be all original . Took a closer look at the above rifle here is some more markings . Rear right but stock hard to see it has small eagle above H above 2 Nazi eagles with swastikas under theme and what looks like WaA607 Below both of these also a small Nazi eagle on both bolt take down disk . the left rear stock has the serial number like on the receiver barely visible but readable . the butt plate has b p r on it . Under the Bolt handle looks to be a Nazi eagle over a crown. On the back of the bolt handle has what looks like a B two unreadable marks then . H The front barrel band / rear sight spring and forward trigger guard below the stock bolt all have a Circle with a Z in it . The front sight hood looks like a K98 hood the middle band has a screw to hold it in place. The front band looks like a milled K.98 band with the same bayonet lug. But Slightly different were the upper handguard meets it. Its Held on by a flat spring The wood is dark and looks like it is finished in a thick shellac it is flaking in places. The bolt is blued. I Haven't disassembled the rifle yet to look for more markings. Paid $200.00 was this a fair price.

Look the rifle over very carefully. Some importers marks are so small they are easily missed. Is there an X anywhere on the rec?
The rifle sounds like it started out as a VZ 23 or 24. It is definately a rework, possibly Rumanian? Are the stock nrs verticle or horozontal?
The trigger guard is from a pre WW 2 98 of some sort. The bolt is from a Kar 98a. The finger grooves and the discription of the bbl band retainer methods don't match the cupped butt plate (which is 42 or 43), wierd!
You have a mish mash assemblied rifle, but if it shoots good it's worth the price you paid.

Sounds like You have a Late Czech made Mauser 24 or 24(T) that was Made during WW2 and they are almost Identical to a Kar 98k....The early ones had straight bolts...
Pics of your rifle would verify This...

WaA607

No X or import marks the stock numbers are horizontal when the rifle is standing up with butt on floor The stock number matches the receiver number. There are a lot of eagles over swastikas over WaA607 and circle around Z markes on the rifle . The finish looks like a thick vanish or shellac It is a vet bring-back . I also bought a Persian mod.30 carbine That has the big ring on the left front swivel also has no import marks it looks to be all original. paid the same price for it also. All the writing and markings on it are in I think Persian. I Bought these to help out with money problems. I Still havent been able to post pictures I must be doing something wrong.
