Rebarrel a 7mm Mauser in 45ACP or 458SOCOM

Anyone ever rebarreled a 7mm small-ring Mauser in 45ACP or 458 SOCOM?

I want to shoot it subsonic at about 850 fps.

Can't say that I have ever heard of that before. I did see some Enfields that had be reworked to fir the .45ACP round. That was done by some Canadian company though and I can't tell you how well that worked, good or bad. lol

Yeah, I seen they had them with the silencer too...Even a special name for that whole line up, but I just can't remember it! Wunhunglo, do you know what they were called? Have you got a video/link to a video of any of them firing? I just wanna see how effective that silencer is on them. Thanks.

The Delisle carbine was the original one, there are one or two outfits in the UK who manufacture copies of them now. One of my buddies has an original and it is awesome as I said before. If you are standing in the next shooting bay at the range, what you hear is the round smacking into the target. I've heard noisier air guns.

We are lucky in the respect we can have silencers/moderators for any of our firearms with no problems whatsoever, doesn't cost a penny extra to get the permission.
