| Swedish M96 Scope Mount
I want to put a scope on one of my Swedish M96 Mausers. There are so many no gunsmith mounts available that it's difficult to know which one to buy. They vary from $10 to more than I paid for most of my rifles. I would like to buy only once and keep the price under $100 |

Steve..where did you get your mount. I can't bring myself to drill and tap any one of my 4 Swede Mausers so I'll have to go with a no gunsmith mount. With iron sights I'm pretty much limited to 50-75 yard shooting. I'm much older today than I was yesterday ![]() |

The mount I bought requires drill and tap as that was the original scope mounting method with the jackenroll mount. I am still looking forward to the day that I can pick up an original sniper.
