Swedish Mauser "Caliper" Front Sight

Can anyone tell me what a caliper sight (Verken) is on a Swedish M96? Thank you.

i believe your talking about the rear sight, that has a dial for setting it instead of the standard slide.

Yes the rifle has that type of rear sight but the seller lists a caliper front sight. Maybe just an error on his listing. Thanks.
