Smile M96 at the range

Finally made it to the range today to shoot the newest member of the Mauser family. As expected, it shoots high at 100 yards but only about 4". What I didnt expect was that it shoots almost 5" to the left. I didnt have any tools at the range to make any adjustments so I had to compensate and after a box or so of ammo, I had it pretty much figured out. I think that with a sight adjustment this rifle could shoot some pretty small groups. This is the last target I shot after learning where to hold the sight.
Its S&B 144gr. soft point. I saw no difference with this and the PMC 140 gr. FMJ
