| Finally made it to the range today to shoot the newest member of the Mauser family. As expected, it shoots high at 100 yards but only about 4". What I didnt expect was that it shoots almost 5" to the left. I didnt have any tools at the range to make any adjustments so I had to compensate and after a box or so of ammo, I had it pretty much figured out. I think that with a sight adjustment this rifle could shoot some pretty small groups. This is the last target I shot after learning where to hold the sight. Its S&B 144gr. soft point. I saw no difference with this and the PMC 140 gr. FMJ |
