Thumbs up

Well, to me "Mauser" means WW 2 German K98ks and a few assorted hangers on.
The first 2 in the photo are a byf 44 that I got in 1953 and a G33/40. The rest are my Ermas' (S/27) u. Borgiswald (S/243). I've since added to these and now only lack the S/27K u. S/243K to have all the variants of these 2 makers.
Also shown is an original grenade launcher and sight for the K98k. I also have the wrench and leather case. Never have gotten around to picking up one of the grenades.

Just an unissued M48 Yugo. And I just added a "scout mount" and scope to it.

I am also Mauser poor. I only have one.

It is also made at Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG, Steyr(bnz).

It too still has swasticas intact.

Funny you should ask. In the file folder for my K98k, I keep this Coors Light bottle cap. Sort of as a joke, I shot at this cap from about 50 feet. The second shot I ever fired from my Mauser punched dead center. It impressed the heck out of my girlfriend(...of course, I didn't let on that it was mostly luck).

My K98k was the beginning of my WWII mil surp frenzy. I bought it back in 2003 for around $239.

Well doesn't sound like you did too bad on price either. Congrats on the purchase. Looks like a good shot there too.
