Thumbhole stock for 96 Swede?

I'm looking for a thumbhole stock for my 96 swede. I have found very few stock options for it at all. Is it possible to get one of the many available stocks for a 98 and adjust it to fit?

It doesn't necessarily need to be thumbhole, but I am looking for a more vertical grip. I'm not against a tactical style stock if there is one available. I would even be willing to buy a blank or rough cut one and fit and finish it myself.
