| Toolman, check the headstamp. It should be on there. Mine was made in '37, the same year as my 8mm Turk.

| Mr. Fixit ![]() | hi calvin, just wondering about year as i have shot a bunch stamped 1941 and have occasional ignition problems w/it but shot about fifty rounds of 1933 stuff the other day and was extremely impressed.very accurate and no ignition problems at all.seems strange for 69 year old ammo but it was all bright and shiny, presumably from a sealed can.got it at a gun show in dallas, wish i could find some more.

| My '37-dated ammo works fine in mine. I have heard other stories, like yours, where the newer the date, the worse it shoots. As far as the ammo, it's available just about everywhere. I paid $5 for 70 rounds on stripper clips. Mine is also shiny, and I used the good-old Tilia Vacuum Saver Plus to make sure they stay that way. You know, my wife tells me that the Tilia is for food. Now, why would she lie to me like that??????
