That is a good price and any large ring mauser bolt will fit but it must be headspaced properly, which is not a problem if you are going to rebarrel the action.

Alot of the recievers that sell cheap are pitted really bad, time you pick the rust out and see how deep it goes you would have wished you paid a little more for one.Century sells the you fixem's and I have never got a bad one(reciever) and you can buy them with a C&R licence where the just reciever you have to have a 01 FFL or have a dealer purchase it for you.Bolts are not hard to find.

Dont know now, have never bought just a reciever, the ones travis saw were the ones that were not completed (needed milling) or heat treated.I always when I needed a good reciever called Century and talked to someone, told them what I planed to do and was going to remove the barrel anyway but needed a good reciever(no pits) and they would always send a good one.Last one I bought was around $75.00 plus shipping, but that would depend on what kind of reciever you wanted, always talked to the same person and bought about 5 or 6 over a 2 year time span.Got a couple that were too good to pull the barrels and kept them as is,cleaned them up and they are good shooters. You Fix Em's are cheap but you will be hunting a bolt or other parts.
