Naw, it did not kick very much, but the concussion was rememberable. Our dang hair blew out of our heads and the pant legs as we lay prone blew a good bit. It was on a tripod and had one of em er muzzle reducers on it.
103, Andrew i think maybe i would be off ta the creek for some butternut
dippin...LOL.....i have peeled like a snake 3 times already this year. Dont know how much more i could take of that there ball of fire in the sky. I like ta swim and have me a set of Navy Seal flippers that send me across The Ohio, The Allegheny and The Monongahela rivers and countless amount of ponds and lakes. I get myself in heap of trouble some times swimming across and back. The river patrol have stopped me a few times askin me iffin i have a death wish.LMAO..........i alway say no, just enjoying my swim officers........I also do that in the ocean, but tell the lifeguards that i will be out pretty far so don't get excited if i look lije a ant. It is what i like ta do and they usually ask me how my swim was.
Well ya said you where off and i guess i will do the same ta get some house work done for the Mrs. Your buddy earl.

Forgive me for turning out the lights. I have been in and out,on and off
and have not spent very much time on G&G. That 50 cal was a farmers friend that got hiself booted off the dangone range and did not have a place to shoot. So he mossyied up our way and i guess did not give a hoot about sharing the fun with us loonies. The range that he joined was close to us but they never said anything about what ya could shoot, as a matter of fact there is a sign there that says shoot whatever ya like, but always be careful.Well after he spent the annual fee to join some folks there just did not like that
military firearm. He is over qualified in training and is an instructor with papers on the weapon. He claims it was somewhere around 7,000 dollar range to purchase and extra money on top of that to scope it and register with license. I don't know how long that thing was but it was somewheres around five foot or so with a tv video camera sight on it. Very Accurate. And i believe he said its weight was somewhere around 50 pounds, that i will vouch for cause i went and pulled it off his pick up truck and carried it about 30 yards away.
I dont have that kind of cash ta be spending on those toys but it sure was fun as he almost begged me to shoot the thing,i refused half a dozen times then i just said, ok let me go get her. He also had a AR-15 with the same type of scope on it, this may be hard ta believe but he shot a butterfly with it at 75 yards away and took it off the earth. I was watching in a field scope that he also owned, behind him of course and witnessed the butterflies disappearance.
LOL........Thanks for writing back AC and you have a good week buddy.

    Mr. Cochran:
All those listings of nothing around here that i have wrote about are nice, don't get me wrong. It is peaceful and i especially like the no police. Shoot your guns anytime of the day or night without any anti gun folk turning you in. A few months ago the farmer called me on his cell phone and goes "You gotta get over in the corn field now, iffin you want ta shoot that 50 cal. that you have not shot since the good ol'e days". So i went a mossyin right quickly with the sparks a flyin out my behind ta get over there before they done shot the whole dang arsenal that they had....LOL.....At six dollars a shell i quit a countin after 10 or so as they kept eggin me on ta shoot more. Pants a flyin backwards, shirts a stretched tight around yourself and lots of filled with water milk jugs a scattered all over the hillside 750 yards away. But i only hit 8 outta 10.....LOL not too bad for an old fart like me that has not shot the likes of that weapon for many moons. Hey Andy go wake up Mike he must be a sleepin or somethin his green light aint on. Are you very close to AH Mike? Just wondering if ya visit that old gumball sometimes LOL....

Take care my buddy and i will chat with you later.......earl

Yes, and I am very pleased with it in terms of fit, shootability, recoil, etc. It was a long wait but worth it. Do you have any new gun purchases in mind?
