I am doing very good sir! I have been enjoying the cooler weather that we have been having here in Northwest Arkansas, lovely time of the year to get out and about with the friends and family. I am excited about hunting season knocking on the door, and the leaves changing colors, almost time to start drinking hot apple cider again.

But enough about me, how the heck have ya been? is it cooling down in your neck of the woods?

Hi Andrew..LOL...i dont like ta go back and read old letters also........LMAO....I talked to my brother yesterday over the phone and he and the other fella Bob already miss not having me there to help. They both went to Arlington to handle the demolition job on Monday and got stopped dead in the mist of it from the permit police.
Seems ta me that the owners did not recover a permit needed to start the job. Both fellas where wackin away at the walls and other things as the permit police where noticed on both sides of the street below as they where lookin at the construction truck wondering where the workers where . So my brother and Bob stopped,closed the windows so the dust woulnt be seen and just sat there for three hours till they left. He got outta there and traveled in the opposite direction as they left in the other direction...LOL.....
Anyway to answer your question it looks like next week that i will be headed back down there to give them a hand with some stuff. I think only for a few days or possibly a week. I have been very busy here catching up on the work. Finished cutting the trees, mowing the grass, and now refinishing the deck and spindles that has needed it for a few years now. Im painting it this year cause the stain has filled up on the surface and will not accept any more stain just a porch paint will work now.....I will write ya as i get ready to leave and certainly give ya a few hollers in between. You take care of yournself now and i will talk to ya later.....your buddy earl....

We've had a cat now for ten years, we take him to the vet, we feed him, give him water, pet him, but when his time comes to pass on. I will probably miss him for a while, but I'll not greive over his absence.

It isn't that I don't like herbert, I didn't know herbert, and as I stated before I cannot understand why people get so sentimental over the death of a pet! if you've ever hunted and killed game animals it equates to the same thing. You thank the game animal for giving it's life so you may have food you apprecaite the pet while alive for giving you a good time; but when it dies it's gone and that's the end. I don't miss my dead pets although I'm grateful that I had them.

Yep i just wrote Mike a little something,but it was very hard ta keep my fingers off the keys to bitch slap that comment someone made about his loss. I don't think it was funny and feel an apology should be sent in fast return. Ya know i aint the one ta be pickin fights on this computer but i don't have a problem spending a little money and traveling back down south ta straighten a big crawdad licker out that was wrong as snot.......that just frosted my ass. Hey Andrew whats a shakin...LOL I made it home Friday late after we tarred in the barn roof. My brother wanted to send me home at 2:00 PM Friday so i could see the road for the drive home,but i told him i was not leavin till we put the last three quarter inch sheet of plywood on and the roof was covered. I cant remember if i told ya, i only have one eye that works, the other was a long war story that i wont discuss. God give us two of them and ya only needs one ya know to see..LOL..but ill tell ya, it aint no picnic driving at night. I wish that little fella would of taken my ear off, that way i could only hear half the chit that goes on in this big world LOL...Well they beat me up down there a little but they where very happy that i helped them. Lots of laughs and stories and an excellent looking barn that the owners love. It is not finished yet,the electricians are gettin in there Monday and the cement guys are gettin in there Tuesday. I was suppose to go to the State Capital in Washington, DC for a demolition,but my brother changed his mind. I will be off again in a few weeks and will not know how long i will be gone next time. I think only a week. The money is real good and he gives me travel money also,what a deal... Get this... i get home Friday late and it looks like VietNam all over the yard,trees busted in half twisted like bombs went off. It was from the storm Sunday night, my wife said over 65 mile an hour winds and the rain commin down sideways. Well i spent all day Saturday till dark and all day today cuttin trees and pickin up sticks till way into the night, we lost five trees but thank god nobody was hurt. That was a welcome home for this old man...WTH.......LOL.... Well i will catch up later buddy, i am tired and need hung up ta dry..LMAO...take care and its good ta be home....
