Well nope I didn't pick up that mosin. I haven't had that dough to get it yet. My moms living with me until I can put her in the nursing home. So No I down't know when I'll pick it up. I hope sometime this month.
Yep I have a dehydrator. I make a lot of it when I get a deer. But I make a nice bit into steak!
I would love to make some jerky and sausage if I get a deer tag next year. The one from last year I just turned into steak and smaller steak. It makes great fajitas. I have never tried anything fancier then steak and steak cubes with my meat.
My dad used to make deer, elk and cow jerky sometimes. I should go get a dehydrator and learn how to use it before we (my sister hunts with me) go out in October looking for those elk!
Well great to hear from you! I don't know how all that stuff works. In Arkansas we don't have to deal with that. I hope you get an elk! I love that meat! But deer is the best I can get here. Well, my Girlfriend got accepted to Vet School in Iowa. Great news for her. That means I need to start looking for a better job though! I wonder what tech jobs in Iowa pay.
Work has been friggen busy; being on call sucks. It hasn't left me much chance to play recently. I got a m38 in yesterday and haven't even cleaned it yet! I got as far as opening the box and checking the bolt face...
