What happened to the chat room? When I click on it, it just shows all the smiley face icon things to use. Let me know? Does it only come up during a certain time?

    Hi Chris,

I just found this forum and signed up.

Trying to edit my profile I found no way to add my custom avitar (Me shooting a rifle).

How do I go about doing that?

I looked for the answer, was unable to find it.

Maybe you can stear me in the right direction.

    Thanks,

    Steve Cover

    Chris:

Washingtonwatch.com has a new feature that is apparently an automatic moderator of sorts. They refer to it as the "automated schoolmarm" in their latest installment. It might be something worth considering for the site to keep everything family friendly.

    Hey Chris,

I must start out by commending you for your site. It is great. I was wondering if you could help me out. On October 7th I paid for a membership fee, but it hasn't been approved yet and the transaction was successful through my bank. Please let me know if there are any questions or issues. Thank you.

to Chris- Thank You for this site and all your hard work, I wanted an indentification for a rifle and Moose, Metro, wunhunglo all helped in a "friendly" way.

question: for a thread that I / one starts, how do you end / delete it? My thought is to save bandwidth yet if you have unlimited then I''ll leave it be. westerworld5@yahoo.com

The people.

Straight up, it's the people. I love going through random threads looking for keywords, and all I find is a real community. I've seen some posts where a "newbie" will ask a question and an "senior" member will give the answer. It's awesome to see people help each other, but it goes beyond that. Later in the thread you can see the "newbie" starting to interact and joke with the other users. It's like being the new kid on the playground,...

Right now, I have this feeling of being burnout.

I need to get away from it all right now or I may lose it.

Gun and Game is starting to stress me out, and I'm wondering why I still keep this site going when it takes so much of my time. I feel as if I'm missing out on a few things. Maybe I should look into selling the site.

Maybe it's just the stress. I think I'll take about a week off and see where I stand.

I just forced the entire website to be www.

What that means is no matter what you type

http://gunandgame.com it will force you to
http://www.gunandgame.com

This is in hopes of trying to get the cookies and other posting issues fixed.

Over the past months I have seen so many members take a few weeks or even months off from the site...I was wondering what the problem could be. Does it lie with the site itself, the staff, or simply people in general.

I believe that G&G while to some is fun and entertaining, it's a bit of work for a few of us. I work about an hour and a half away from my current home (Moving apartments). I forgot my computer for the last day or so. While I still had computer access, I...

Constantly I bounce ideas of people and I think about them sometimes months at a time. I have a notebook I carry with me sometimes, that is just packed full of ideas and ideas that will just have to wait. Here is a list of a few things that I'm hoping to get started in the month of July!
