    i checked a few of em out. devil driver was good. i really liked bloodsimple. thanks for lettin me know about em. the singer from bloodsimple reminds me of someone but i cant think of who lol

    hey cremley, just a range report. tried some 17hmr winchester 17gr v-max today. shot really well at 100yds. just as good as the hornadys and remingtons. picked em up for $12. take care

    That post was me quoting greenninja5150 on his project. But he beadblasted his gun and mount to match the silver scope....as far as i know, he just oils the receiver since it's steel and will rust....something i thought that would work instead of oiling is if you could find some durable clearcoat, and apply it to the gun, mount, and scope....that way if clearcoat changed the tint of the gun a lil, hopefully the same effect would happen on the aluminum mount and scope....but if it's a good quality clearcoat and the receiver isn't miscolored, or dirty, it should work really well. If i were you i'd experiment it on a cheap BB gun or small piece of smooth iron/steel pipe first to see if the clearcoat keeps the polished steel look or if the tint changes any.
