I'm very highly impressed by the Witness. It's a later development of the CZ-75 design, the frames are actually made by CZ, then sent to Tanfoglio for the slides, barrels and small parts.

The Witness 10mm is built on a slightly different frame than the 9mm. The grip frame is a bit longer front to back. I find the grip very comfortable, feels much like a Browning Hi-Power. Felt recoil, even with high end loads, is quite manageable. Perceived recoil is less than a .45 in an alloy frame Colt Commander. We've tried the max load Buffalo Bore ammo in it, snappy, but not unpleasant. My brother's is the "Elite" model. Single action trigger group, high visibility sights and a precision fit barrel. Accuracy is extremely good and trigger pull is excellent.

The large frame can be converted to any of the other calibres, .45, .38 Super, .40 S&W, 9mm or .22 using factory kits, or others (including .400 CorBon, 9x23 and .41 AE with aftermarket barrels).

i am serious, no model number i can see. all i know full size. i looked again on mine.

it is full size, it has tangfolio marks on it. as for ammo, i load all mine.

10mm was off our shelves for awhile but it been here and there, much like 9mm was.

LOL Hey the reason I stay up late is because...LOL... I fall a sleep in my recliner in the evening and I'll wake up around 10 to 1100 at night and can't go back to sleep.
So I'll come here and maybe around 1:30 to 3:00 a.m I can go to bed.
But I'll wake up like this morning at 5:30.
So you see how easy it is to fall a sleep in my recliner in the evening.

I've got to quit doing that to, my wife does'nt like it either.

I think you'll love the Witness in any caliber!! I love the 10mm, but I aso reload. If 10mm is hard to find near you, then I would say go with the Witness in 45 !!
