in a nut shell, the facts you have stated is the same as I saw... I remember the .500 NE being the one totalk about...The BMG .50 is one to boast about for sure... How's the weather down under? We have had weird stuff here, it get hot then cold, like a roller coaster...

Hey mate, that thread was closed so i couldnt reply.

I will look the info up in a book i have later, but from memory,

A bloke went to H&H and wanted to buy a .600 NE but this was after they already made the LAST .600 they said sorry, they couldnt make it for this reason. So he said ok then build me a .700, so they did. The technical name for it is .700 H&H but most everyone calls it Nitro Express. I will look up names dates ect later, just got home from work.

On a side note they convinced the bloke who owned the LAST ever 600 to sell it back to them so they could continue to make them.
