I went to the stilly yesterday and caught a few humpies but no Silvers. I haven't been able to go out much this year and missed pretty much the hole humpy run. I am going out today to sight in my 25-06 and my K31 that I just put a scope on. I think I might take the K31 out a bit this year. Any thing going on with you? Its good to hear from ya.

Too bad the scope didn't stay put on the Mosin.

Yeah I'm still working at the shop, I have a Glock 19 and a Gerber knife on lay-a-way. I've been offered a Yugo RPK kit and I'm trying to score another PSL from the same guy. I'm either very blessed or very greedy not sure which!

Nah, other than casting a dozen times at Gardner, just been doing a lot of scouting for work and game. I did stop and look at the river by the Pipeline today. Water is a bit milky, but looking fishy! Saw 4 Pheasant sitting in someone's mowed, maintained, chainlink-fenced front yard this morning too....wtf?

So what were you guys all working on down there at the JATC yesterday?

LB have you hit the river yet, its been real slow for me but two friends of mine caught a 34 lbs. and 41lbs, fish on Saturday. I am thinking of going out on Thursday I'll let you if I get one.

Hey lunchbox, I got to the point that the cosmo was a light gray instead of a black stain in the wood. The dark stain I used pretty much covered it up. Mine was too far gone to get it all out so I reached a point where it was just "good enough."

Lb have you been on the river yet? There's been a few fish being caught, two that I know of went around 28 lbs.
