Not sure when they were shot, but they both came out of the Northern Territory. More than Arhnem land going by the size of those horns.
I came across the pictures and thought you might enjoy a look.

Wow that is a huge difference. Over double the price, rediculous.
I rang the shop today, they can get me a brand spankin new rifle for $1450. I will definately be getting one.

Thanks mate. I will steer clear of Bertram brass. I will try to get some Hornady brass. If i can't get any (i dont see why i can't) i will buy some Hornady factory rounds and reload the brass.
It is tax time here at the end of June so i will pick one up then.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question mate, i am going to go for it.
Bruce Bertram in Victoria makes brass for it (and i think Hornady does aswell), Woodleigh make projectiles, so there is no shortage of components for it. I can get load data off Woodleigh.
I would buy a .270 but i don't want to get too carried away LOL.

G'day Phil,
What can you tell me about the .450/400 Nitro Express 3"? I was just over on the Ruger website and seen they chamber this cartridge in the No1 Tropical. My .375 H&H will do any job i can throw at it over here, so i dont particularly need it but it has got me very interested, and those No1's are quite cheap.
