rw a friend of mine has an ffl. One of the sites he buys guns at, I have his code and password to go look around at when I want to.
They only sell to gun dealers. I looked up dealers cost for a 981T and it's $158.85 so now you know what dealer cost is to haggle down the retail price as much as possible... I paid $144.00 for mine 2 years ago which was cost back then.
They've gone up some since then...A.H

Greetings yes I do still have the 981T, for the money you just can't go wrong buying one.
There excellent 22's. I'm not going to mis lead you I have't shot it that much. But I did own the 22 magnum model first which is just like it for 32 years and then I traded it in for a 983 T 22 magnum.

So i've got both the 981 T and 983 T. I put a scope on the 981 T and sighted it in and shot it a lot that day and threre acurate.

You want be disappointed if you buy one. I'm sure the models that take clips are fine but I like the tube under the barrel better.

They are not cheap made either, you'll like it if you get one I'm sure of that, even the black synthectic stock is good to. Good luck to you and let me know if you get one.
