Thanks for the link and the PM...I have a friend that has a Pawn and Gun shop that has been selling me guns for about 20 dollars over cost.
One day this week I'll drop in for a visit and see what he would sell me the Black model 60 for.
He's not always cheaper though because places like Acadamy, Gander Mountain and other like stores some times are much cheaper because I guess they buy in bulk.

Went to WalMart yesterday and all the 22 rimfire ammo they had was 2 different CCI loads and nothing else.

Take care and Thank You ...Mike

    Greetings I'm glad i checked G&G before i it the sack. I've got a 981T and a 983T as well as 3 other 22's.
I've wanted a model 60 for a while and probably will get one before summers end.
I keep reading how good and accurate they are.
Is your's accurate ? I have a remington speedmaster I rarely ever shoot because it is to fancy LOL plus it jammed alot after my wife bought it for me as a gift.
I quit useing Remington ammo in it and it quit jamming.
Anyway I appreciate the PM and between me and you LOL I don't care anything about Rugers 10/22 I think it's ugly LOL as is but customized I've seen some here that look pretty nice.

It's 1 a.m. here so I'm going to take a quick look around the site and then go crash.

    Regards ...Mike

Deep fried asparagus sounds wonderful! I have had deep fried green beans ... can't remember if they were on the list and they hit a homer in my book! We love asparagus and think I will have to try it. I would imagine one would use fresh asparagus as that can stuff is always mushy???? I just had a thought that fried artichokes would probably be pretty tastey too. I'm gonna have a fish fry in next couple of months (depending on how my fishing luck goes) and will have to throw a hodgepodge of "side" delicacies in the big vat too!

    good hearin' from ya'

Greetings...I'm not haveing any problems with the Maverick other than I droped it on my kitchen floor, the rail "pins" that are at the opposite end of the shell carrier popped inside the reciever.
I had to take out the trigger group to pop them back in which was easy but I thought this should'nt have happened.
These are made to pop out for when you clean the gun but I wouldn't of thought they would of popped out that easy from dropping it. LOL

I've never dropped a gun before and really how often are you going to drop a gun LOL.
I had just oiled it down and was heading to a kitchen cabinet for an old rag when I bumped my big toe on a kitchen table chair, so I suppose from the pain and being starteld as well as holding a oily gun I let go of the gun I guess to dance around a minute LOL

Thanks for the kind words. But please don't apologize publicly too; we don't want this thing getting completely out of control. We'll be so busy apologizing to each other there won't be room for anything else...

Thanks for accepting and thanks for the post at the Maverick tread. I did a LOT of research on the Mavericks and everyone and I mean everyone loved theirs so what more can say. I bought one and I love it...Mike

Hey buddy, good to hear from you! I had one of those work emergencies REAL early that morning... leaking water from on upstairs bathroom dripping all over a meat sales counter... not good... especially since it was toilet water! Anyway, by the time I got all that sorted out and drove downtown the march was already underway and parking was a nightmare! I honked and waved... I'm pretty bummed out, but whatta' ya do? At least I got the word out and many people I know went supporting me too. NEXT year we are going together man!
Lots of coyotes to be had here, if ya' get a free weekend morning let me know!

If you get over to these parts, look me up and we will do some shooting or maybe a hunt of some sort... I'm game for whatever is in season and coyotes never go out!
