I just picked up my MAS36 on 2-06-09,and it is a real beauty.I ordered the sling from IMA,and some original stripper clips from Numrich for a good price.
Have to clean it up a bit(cosmo)and take it out and shoot it.pixs will be on soon when I set up my Photobucket account.I'll also give you a range report too.
    Talk to you soon,Jason Michaels

    Hi Joker,
I finally got my Budapest Steyr, and it is a real beauty!I was wondering if you knew of a web site that would tell me what year it was made based on the markings.
I have not shot it yet,but the military ammo that it came with is 205 grain, and should kick like the mule I have been told about.I will post pictures as soon as i get time, been working every day,it's not easy being self-employed some times.
Hope to hear from you soon, Jason Michaels

I'm not sure who pushed who. I think you started it. The very same day you started the thread saying you had been on the website and almost clicked "buy". I had been on the very same website the same day with the cursor hovered over "buy". After you made that post, I started watching them on gunbroker.com too. That lead to my purchase.

My Budapest M95 should be here early next week. I can't wait!

From what I've seen Norinco makes a very good replica of the 1897 Trench Sweeper. It seems to be an exact copy of Winchester's model down to the lack of a trigger disconnect. You can simply hold the trigger back and pump. I've only put 100 rounds through mine, but it has functioned flawlessly.
