Howdy, Xskycop!
I don't recall exactly what brand rings I used - I believe they may be some Luepold see-thrus I found at WallyMart. The scope grooves are a bit off-center - the front doesn't quite match the rear! But these rings work well. The way the bolt handle comes up vertically means having to raise the scope fairly high. I also like still being able to use the irons - this TU-KKW is as accurate with the irons at 50 yards or less as with a scope! It really likes the CCI Standard loads.
I do wish that the Dot_Gov would let Norinco guns be imported again - they are a great value for the price!
I had it at the range Saturday, and it drew some attention - folks wondering why the "Mauser" sounded so puny!? Hehehe.
On my Norinco JW27 sporter, the scope grooves are even more mis-matched! I use a Bushnell scope with it that has lots of windage adjustment. It's the same action, but a funky two-piece stock and better trigger.
