I'm totally flummoxed, if your rifle has been shooting other rounds properly. Did you try a different kind after those screwed up, to make sure it was the ammo and not the gun?

Come to think of it, did you have more than one Mosin to try them in? About the only thing I can think of Offhand is that you have a batch of hard primers, and your firing pin isn't striking hard enough. Do you have the little tool some of them came with, that has notches to check the adjustment of your firing pin?
