I am making one from a larger safety pin. The first try uses a safety pin about 1 7/8 inches long. As it turns out, the trigger pin fits nicely thru the coil spring of this safety pin. I’m not done yet, but if there is any interest in saving $7.00+$2.00 S&H, plus having an unlimited supply of raw springs to use as test vehicles, I’ll eventually post pictures and my results.
After I opened the safety pin, I saw that I needed to open it a little wider which I did…after I stretched the spring, it retained its shape for two days, so it is probably pretty stable.
I don't see it as a hassle,I like to tinker with things and see if I can improve them(I do not do anything that can't be reversed if I screw it up,I don't claim to be a gunsmith!LOL) without costing me anything.

Wow! please tell me where. That way I don't have to waste my time setting up my Herdon CNC Multiformer and programing it. You did say guarantee. LOL
Hey! your alarm clocks going off
Sorry for the delay, gentlemen. I've switched doctors lately, and been too busy with tests and studying and, of course posting on GunandGame. I knew I'd be pretty slow, but I'm also rebuilding a Mosin and refinishing the stock is a real pain.
But one night when I have my Mosin assembled again, I'll get out a couple pairs of pliers and give it a go...
I installed my ebay slack spring, not too hard, not a piece of cake, I think I shot it across the floor like three times before I figured out the secret of how to grab it!
I like the thing... just enough tension to keep the trigger forward and not add anything to the trigger pull. Well worth the money, or the effort if you can make your own IMHO.
