Nice collection you have there! Whats the story on the mosin in the middle of the second to last pic? That rear sight looks pretty interesting.

Thank you Guys an Gals,
I really like the Nagant lunchbox, typical Russian, built like ah T34 tank, field strips with no tools, reasonably accurate.

Yes BigBlockCrx like lunchbox posted it was a Mosin Nagant captured by Finland and rebuilt using only the Russian receiver, bolt, trigger group and mag, this "finn" is a M39

LOL! matt, gannie the "short blonde on the end" is a M91/59 that tex sold me when i needed one to complete my collection (what ah Buddy!!), she's ah eyeful from unusual stock, unreissued, all #'s matching, was still in cosmo... pristine,

As soon as the shop is done I'll pick up where i left off ah year and ah half ago, shooting and posting range reports,
Dale

LOL! Shrunken head neo! LOL!

No, LOL! it is a VERY strange root that came from a tree that became so root bound it grew thru one of the drain holes in it's container down into the gravel then into the ground....it was so strange the men who load plants saved it.

After seeing it laying around the nursery for about ah yr. i took it home and submerged it in BLO for 6 months. I will post some better pics of it, has eyes, beard and kind of a ponytail.

Thank you for the "shop growth" Craig, it is a major factor in my exercise---hobby---reason to get out and keep busy.....hope to bring others in to share fun and belief systems.
Zoned commercial, may try for FFL.

You have encouraged me Brother.....

Dale

Mosin Nagant M27(Finish) 7.62 x 54 Russian 5-shot bolt action rifle. I purchased it for 25.00 to get the rear sight off of it for a friend’s rifle. I topped it with a cheap scope which shot 4” groups at 100 yards. I sporterized it, covered it with camo tape and carried it in my truck.
