Re pops for sure. Big clue is the bayonet and the frog. These were never issued with bayonets and the frog is for a Yugoslavian Mauser bayonet. Also real ones sell for around 800 dollars.

If you want a real one go to Rguns, they are about 200 dollars more but are real.

Wideners is sold out now.

A batch of PU refurbs have recently come in. AIM and Classic also had some.

The ones from Wideners may have been from the same lot. Oddly, the pics do not show the telltale sniper marks of the barrel. That would be the first pic I would show if they had them, so I suspect they do not.

Yeah, definitely not original snipers. That scope is way too shiny to be 60 years old!

That said...I bought one a couple of years ago and really enjoy it. It is a 1942 Izzy with the reproduction scopes. The scope was made to original specs with original tooling and is quite clear.

If you can pick one of these repro snipers for around $400, it is a fun little plinker!

The ones that AIM had were 100% the genuine article. Matching scope numbers punched into the left side of the receiver and everything. Scopes with the semi-glossy black finish that is correct for wartime production. They had them for $550 bucks if I remember right. Way cheaper than RGuns. They had a ton of pictures showing all the right marks and features. They did not last long.
