| Senior Member | Markings on stocks- could these be hit markings? I was wondering if anyone elses Mil. Surplus rifles have some sort of row of markings made by (I'm guessing) the original owner? What I mean is, on my Finn M-39 and my SKS there are makings where it looks like a soilder picked up the spend case and indented the stock, or Butt Plate with the mouth of the spent case. Making a row of rings. Could this be some sort of comfirmed kill marks? Or hits? Just curious if anyone elses rifles have these on them. |
