I got a question(not about guns), what the crap is up with the weather? I live in central KY, and it was almost 70 out today, thunderstorms, and we had tornadoes all over the state, ON JAN. 2nd!!! Tomorrow the high is under 50, than over the next 10 days its going back up to 60, down in the 30's, and back up to 60(for the highs).

It's unseasonably warm here too.

Oh, one more thing I noticed. Yesterday after about 15 rounds, I noticed the wood on top of the rifle had slid foward about 1/2", is that normal? I was able to to push it back though.

My rifle keeps trying to scoot back out from under the hand guard, too. I thought it was because the replacement spring clip we made for one of the bands was too weak.

No big deal; just push it back into place now and then.

That is very common
check to see that the bands are fitting properly
if it continues ya might try a little custom modification like
squeezing the bands tighter, it depends on what is moveing and how loose it is. Do the bands them selves move or just the upper hand guard?
the bands should be held in place by the spring loaded clips that are in the stock.
