Does anyone know where to just get a mosin action, i want to build a target rifle, but i dont want to buy the whole gun to just get the action out of it!:flame:

You could buy some of the parts guns with cracked stocks from Souther Ohio Gun. They are usually just over $30 or so.

I thought that if you took the barrel out of the action it would ruin the action. Or just the barreL?

Centerfire systems has some barreled actions at 5 for 49.97 and they are Remington marked !

The barrel can be removed but is very difficult and can ruin the action if not done correctly. Springfield Sporters used to have barreled actions but not sure if they do now.
