| Senior Member | I think I'll see what this weekends gunshow has to offer, as I am still looking for another later manufactured M44 (with good metal), and maybe a 91/30 and SKS. It's nice to know that all 3 will probably cost less than $350. Hopefully there will be some milsurp ammo as well. |

| Senior Member | Thanks FM, I am in the Phoenix area and we have a show comming up this weekend. Since I have just returned to shooting (thanks to the M44) in the last few months this will be the first gun show in many years. |

| Senior Member | Great gun show here this weekend. Bought some ammunition to try and : I just fired 40 rounds of Igman from AIM. Very (very) nice. Brass, Boxer primed, 150gr. soft point... $6.95 a box (20)! Also 10 rounds of Hungarian CW (21-74) ok, but still sticky. 20 rounds of Brown Bear... nice, but why buy steel when you can have brass for about the same cost. 10 rounds of Olympic... not bad for 20 rounds @ $5 brass. Shoots fine in 7.62x54R form. Not sure if it's reloadable, but seems to be. Update: The Olympic ammo is Berdan primed, and not reloadable. That's the report. | Member | I like the Brown and Silver Bear. Soon I hope to get dies and stuff. I have had good results with the Wolf Gold also, and at $10 it offers me brass for the future. I lived in PHX 12 years ago. The state fairgrounds gunshows were the best I have ever been to. I have an M38 with a scout mount from crankyfarmer.com, with a cheap BSA($30 at Wallyworld) red-dot. It is big fun. |

I start a new job on Monday, so maybe by October I can afford to buy a couple of M44's from J&G. Big 5 had a 44 with a bent front sight (and almost perfect metal), but wouldn't budge on the price, so I'll wait.

AIM seems to be the only source for Igman.
