91/30 trigger pivot pin

My new 91/30 is missing the trigger pivot pin. I tried using a 5/32" x 3/4" tension pin but it is a little too tight. Makes the trigger stick a little. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Go to the hardware store and find a drill bit to fit, buy it then go home and trim to length (use the shank). Drill bit probably needs to be metric unless the holes are wallowed.

or just drill it in there then cut it off

Well the original is .158in 4.02mm thick. It's slightly loose. A 8-1/4 gauge nail is .159 according to this site so if you cut one down it should work. Yeah I'm a bit late but figured I might as well measure it while I have it apart for cleaning.
