A 1944 M44 in a lamanate stock. Wood is perfect Tula factory very nice bore has been counterbored
Both have been rearsenaled, forced serial number match. Blueing is 100 percent on both rifles.
Both passed field headspace check
Both came with all tools and one round oil bottle and one square oil bottle.

Thank you.

Using 148 gr surplus ammo, both of them out of the box made a anti freeze jug dance around on the berm at 100 yds. That was using a front rest.

Neither one has any trouble with bolt freeze. I was really glad to see that.

I am very happy with them and will set up a real target as soon as I can to see if I can actually hit a piece of printing paper at 100 yds with my old eyes,

Thanks guys, and its a miracle the pic came out so nice, usually my pics suck LOL

I had to stand on the coffee table and have my son point a flashlight at the rifles so the camera would sense enough light to auto focus. The guns do have a beautiful shine to them though.

Billy I hear ya on the eyes, but that doesnt stop me from getting out there and scaring the hell out of the range berm

the steel cased is 70's hungarian, the one on left is 7N1 russian sniper, the center rear is bulgarian and the one on right is albanian..czech also makes a steel case that looks like the hungarian that comes in a light blue box with a silver stripe..

Yup, Czech silver-tip, as seen in this photo:

That's just the external of the box, but I have a few hundred rounds of the 800 case I bought.

Oh, and that's the desk drawer next to my computer... never know when the zombies will rise.

Polish is good stuff! That's the first 20 rounds I ever put through my 91/30 and they functioned flawlessly.

If you really want to make 'em jump, go the range with a few boxes of the Czech 46gr. hollow-core "gallery" ammo. At my In'Laws place where I shoot, I can fire off a shot, remove my muffs and still hear the shot echoing. It's loud, it's bright, and has practically no recoil.

I've got Mosins and SKS's. When my shoulder gets sore from the Mosin, I switch to the SKS. Both are great guns.
