| Thor's Hammer ![]() | You know, I got both a grinder and a drill press. I was thinking of drilling out enough to get the pin below the surface...

| Mr. Fixit ![]() | Steve, C'mon down, bring a twelve-pack of whatever kind of beer they drink up there and I'll knock that damm pin out for ya! My best advice is "dont baby it", grind a slight dish in a good punch and knock the he ll out of it! I thought I was going to bend the barrel on my 91\30 before I got it to move.

| Super Moderator ![]() | Steve... Call Wild West Guns at 344-4500 and see if you can bring your rifle in and have them remove the pin for you. They are on Old Seward Hwy...If they can't , call Fowler Gun and Machine down on E. Huffman...345-4488 Rich

| Thor's Hammer ![]() | Thanks for the ideas/leads guys. Actually, the sight is not on a barrel, it is a seperate, complete M44 & M38 sight. Well, put the sight in the drill press and cut a depression in the end of the pin. Put it in a HUGE vice and beat the corn out of it with a nail set and 3lb hammer. Nuttin'. Bigger hammer and beat the sight out of the vice! Ordered sight base, sight spring, and leaf sight pin from Numrich.......
