Nice looking gun! I think that's actually what they're going for these days as they seem to have dried up. You probably got a decent deal.

Ricochet I'm curious I noticed allot of those have the counter bored bore's I think thats suppose to improve accuracy but never having shot one so I wouldn't know what your take on that. like to have one of those myself to back up my M44.

There's nothing wrong with counterboring at all. It's just a special form of muzzle crowning. Cleans up belling of the end of the bore from overzealous use of cleaning rods. Gives a sharp, even release of the bullet from the rifling. All of these Mosins are rearsenaled, and most have counterboring.

They were my first choice and yes they have them >>I am sorry but I dont like hidden charges from a dealer and canceled my order with them .. Why should i have to pay 3 bucks to sign my name.. I know its a petty thing but shipping wasnt as discribed on there web site either .. I know everyone has there favorite dealers and so do i but I suggest you screen carefully..Sorry for the long dismal post

They've already disappeared from the market for a while and come back. Same with the M91/59.

Right now Century's got M91/59s. Price is steeper than I'm willing to pay.
