Lookit the Ammo I Found

Hello,

I cleaned some stuff out today and found some trade goods for the gunstore. Ammo I no longer have guns for, a couple choke tube wrenches, nothing important.

I went rooting around in the loose 7.62x54 bin, trying to match up headstamps and years.

I found a couple rounds which obviously didn't belong, and I bought them to avoid someone else mistakenly firing them off.

I didn't look closely at the headstamp until I got home...

I have no idea if this stuff is rare, common, or what. I don't know how comfortable I am with having Nazi ammo, but I figure that if I'm OK having a firearm and a bunch of ammo from the USSR in the house, a couple of these rounds shouldn't bother me.

Interesting stuff I thought.

Very interesting. I suspect it is worth more than you paid for it.

that is 8x56r for the steyr m95 carbine I've shot a bit of that sutff and it shoots fine. it comes in ten rounds packs on two enbloc like clips. some of the clips are nazi marked some are not.

This rifle is also a straight pull bolt like the swiss k31, and now that you have the ammo you must buy the rifle to go with.

You can purchase k98 8mm mausers from classic arms with the NAZI war eagles still intact. They were Russian-capture rifles. So, you can think of them like an m39 Finnish Mosin... just backwards.
