Marion, Great looking rifle! I think I will do the same as you and order one! I found one locally for 199 but did not like the wear that they were calling very good condition. Plus it was forced matched. Not sure whether that makes that much difference for a shooter or not. Where did you find it? J&G Sales?

Swede, oh my. See this is what always happens. I get ready to buy an M39 and I see a nice SKS. I get ready to buy the SKS and a nice Mauser or Enfield shows itself, then I find......and then someone shows me an M39.

It is a fine and pleasant misery to have. Why in the world did it take me so long to find the fun in collecting military rifles?

SKS's will be around for a long time. I would buy a M39 or a M91/59 before they all go bye-bye... Just my opinion.

I have been talking to patrica Burns for months >> I just can afford her gorgeous rifles !! Tex thats exacly what happened on this SKS was looking for a M91 or 91x59 and this one got posted on another forum.. and he made a deal I couldnt refuse!! BTW J&G has good grade for 149.00 Now gonna have to wait till next payday before I buy much I guess LOL..If you find one you want buy it or it is gone
