Well, I can't forget about "Misery", as that's where some of my friends that joined the Army went for basic training.

But yes, I'm fairly decent on my geography, both national and international.

Paper told me they were pressurized and all I had to do was heat the can a little bit and it would open.

He was right. It was painful, but it opened.

Our official goal of 200 posts on the subject is almost a reality! And we have managed to stay on topic for...what.....72 of those posts?

How to close an ammo can.

First you wrestle the thing open and steal all the goody inside. Then....you carefully place the lid to the can as close to it's original position as possible. Then you....wait....I need to think this through.......Then you simply take a box of wheel weights and a torch. Lay the ammo can on it's side. apply heat to the can while melting a large wheel weight over the seam.

Hmmm, does this make sense?

Well, for one thing, no one has discussed the Bulgarian heavy ball cans that look like briefcases yet. I'm expecting one of those on Monday, and will report on the expected clusterbleep as it happens. I'm thinking rotozip....
