im thinking depth but it could be the tip i ajusted it for a while but the best i could get was it fired every 2nd shot im thinking just buy new firing pin or am i over looking something?

Sounds like you found a suspected cause. You might change the firing pin spring as well. Both are cheap.

Well since putting unripe banannas is a brown paper bag for a week makes them riper and easier to peel, mabey it would work for an ammo can.( then mabey the pull tabs will work!!!)
