AIM Surplus is currently selling 147 grain 7.62x54R by the 440 round spam can for $90 bucks plus shipping. But they take all the sport out of it - they throw in that pea-green can opener!

The can opener is only given when you order 880 rounds. So the sport is still on!

People do a doubletake at work sometimes, when I bring up my company log-in and they see my wallpaper. Everyone else has pretty sunsets, beach scenes, snow-covered mountains, etc. This is what I have.

You realize that if you translate the Cyrillic writing on a Spam can it reads

"Whoop Ass: 1 can, Industrial Strength 7.62mm"

I haven't had a tab break off on me but one time, and that can opened readily when I used a pair of needle-nose pliers like a key on a sardine can. I've found that with the Bulgarian cans, the trick is to work s-l-o-w-l-y when you are going around the corners.

Think this thread's a joke?

The guy who made that video lost his right hand in a spam can accident.

He lost his vocal cords too....but that's another story.

So why do you expect answers in THIS forum? This is for Mosin Nagants, not Weatherbys

Ive melted lead soldier with a bic lighter before so taking a good hair dryer or a weaker heat gun to the seal would make it more pliable. But wheres the fun in that when you can just back over it with a truck? Im sure the can getting massively deformed and mangled will force it to give up its goods. Just dont try that with the ladies..... The law tends to frown upon that short of thing..... With good reason, you sick tickets...

You know, Ill bet if Billy Mase was around, we could come up with a handy gadget that opens spam cans, has a range finder on it, can check the firing pin depth, and can be used to disassemble your mosin nagant and it would sell millions!

Your kidding, I thought he made oxy clean, mighty puddy, the garden auger, and all those other things , in a little shop in his basement.
