Now was that on YOUR target or the one on the lane next to you?

OK, you obviously have shot a CMP shoot before. I learned quickly that the first thing you do when you line up your sights is to check to make sure your lane number is above the target you are aiming at. One time I counted 11 holes in my target after I had only fired 10 shots. The guy beside me only had 9 holes in his. STFU, NO, it was not the one in the X ring!

Tex was the third shooter from the left, so I was looking through a spotting scope at target #3. As far as I could see, Tex was not even hitting the paper. Found out he was really in position #4, there being a space between him and position #2. I was looking at the wrong target!
Fortunately, Tex wasn't.
Although that would have been a good excuse for him!

Sounds to me like Tex paid Gannie to try to cover for him.
Too bad we didn't belive it.

If I tell the truth why do I have to pay anyone?!!!
Fortunately, I am not a proud person. I hit everything I aim at. I have learned to change what I am aiming at after seeing what I actually hit! HA!

Needless to say one of the guys next to me was closing his eyes every time he pulled the trigger. Woosy!

When it comes toTex, who knows what he was aiming at or what he hit!
He once shot an arrow into the air ... AND MISSED!

Of course I qualified.
The guy next to me didn't.
Went straight from there to my second gas mask training. Nothing like proving your mask works like making you take it off in a tear gas filled room.
Wish I had that mask after Tex downs a plate of beans!

It means much more to them to feel superior. I shall not shame them by out shooting them in front of their friends. I don't miss on purpose, I just shoot for the copyright symbol at the bottom of the target.
