Well Ingous said it was Bulgarian ammo so guess you would have to ask a Bulgarian how they got em open. Myself I just use a chainsaw. Just line em all up and they are open in no time.
oh no I know yall are not gonna let this topic fade away not at 5 pages HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!
Opened bulgarian can with needle nose pliers like a sardine can, bought a milsurp ammo can on ebay and store my rounds in there now, very cool, very practicle.
One of them Big Restaurant Can openers will also do a good job...I just slip in the back door of the local Roadhouse dressed like a Chef...Then run out with my open can of ammo...
LOL

I notice Sportsmans Guide has a can opener type thing that comes with some cans of ammo. But that to me would be cheating. I think if you drag it behind your car long enough it would wear out the bottom. Then you can just go back and pick up any that havent gone off.

Finally an answer to the problem... other than using the pull-tab on the can.
Pull tab????? Looks at the dark olive green can. Nope no pull tab there. Looks at the tin one that looks like old lead. Ah yess a pull tab. Pulls on it. POP. Well that didnt work. Back to the drawing board. Maybe if you.....
Both of mine worked. You have to go slow, and coax it along. try to zip it off, and your back to draggin' it down the street... Again a method that does have merit.
