| Hearing protection
I agree: This is a MUST!! After a lot of years of loud music, hunting, target shooting, and fireworks without proper protection I have about a 45% hearing loss. Been that way since I was 40 and now at 44 I can hardly hear if there is background music or other interfering noise. I wear both ear inserts and external protection and usually can not hear what other people ask me at the range but can usually make out enough to respond. At one of those "free hearing tests" the girl told me I'm able to get qualified as handicap with my hearing loss and park closer. I won't do it as there are others who need those spaces a lot more than me. I WILL ask people who do park there if they need help and if they get nasty call the cops for a confirmation visit. After all, my father has physical disabilities and can hardly walk but he still parks and walks. A proud fireman who got hurt fighting a fire. I"M SO PROUD OF HIM! |
