| I am having a hard time determining the distances on the graduations on my Mosin's adjustable rear site. I know it is in Russian increments but could someone help me out in how to convert it to english yards? Thanks in advance! |

| They are most likely in Arshins. (sp) Arshins are 28" or two foot incriments. However, some are in yards. Check out 7.62x54.net to learn more. I think it is if the lines goes 10, 20 etc. Then they are yards. I get the feeling that an Arshin (common length of a step at the time) is the same as a Hunter's yard. ![]()
