| how to take a 91/30 apart i just got a 91/30 and when i get a gun i clean it thouraly. i cant get the metal clips off any suggestions p.s. great gun thanks danny |

| Thor's Hammer ![]() | Congrats on the new Mosin! Usually the band springs aren't that strong, and you can depress them with the combi tool in your cleaning kit (if you got one). For really tough ones follow Cyr's advice. Also, make sure you remove the extractor from the bolt head, and clean it real good! Then you shouldn't have to remove it again.
