Just picked up my second. Russian 91/59. My M44 was getting lonely. Now have to find some sort of birth controll for them.LOL

Just find a cover for the M44's bayonet, and yell "NO!" very sharply when it tries to extend....

I just bought my first mosin 2 weeks ago nice lil m44 izzy only thing the receiver and barrel that was exposed looks like it was finished stainless but when i took it out of the stock to clean that brown gooey goodness off of it it was still original. i love it shoots great at a hundred yards with my bad eyes lookin to get a 91/30 in a week at the gun show

Recently added a few to my collection. 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1935 all Tula hex in pre-war stocks; 1937 round reciver in pre-war stock; 1939 Tula war time stock. I have a few months of clean an touch up to do now. Keep be busy till the spring most likely. The only 1936 Tula I've seen have been on G. B.
